Have you ever caught yourself battling thoughts like these:

• "What if everything goes wrong?"
• "It’s hard to believe I truly deserve to succeed..."
• "Can I really become the best version of myself?"
• "Staying in my comfort zone feels like the only safe choice."
• "Why do I keep feeling this sense of unworthiness?"
That’s okay! It’s natural for these thoughts to feel overwhelming, but remember, you’re not alone in this. Anxiety can take many forms, and understanding it is the first step toward finding peace.
These anxious experiences can feel overwhelming and unwanted, leading us to develop habits and patterns to avoid the discomfort. But what happens when those patterns start to hold us back from living the fulfilling lives we desire?

It’s time to explore how these behaviors can be addressed and transformed. Together, we can uncover healthier strategies that empower you to break free from limitations and embrace a more vibrant life.

My Philosophy
The Journey
Next Steps
Many of us experience automatic thoughts—those immediate, often negative reactions that can arise in response to stressors. These thoughts can significantly influence how we feel and behave.

Through our sessions, we will work together to identify these patterns, helping you recognize when they occur and how they affect your emotional state. Once we’ve identified these thought patterns, we’ll take a closer look at their roots. This means exploring where these beliefs originated. Understanding the origins of these thoughts is crucial, as it helps us see them as learned responses rather than absolute truths.

Why’d you become a therapist?
I became a therapist because when I was younger, I was diagnosed with epilepsy. Having epilepsy when I was younger led me to having developed a different point of view on life and being highly empathetic of the different challenges people face. After surgery and being seizure free, I had always wanted to help others get through challenges, which brought me to where I am today, having a bachelors degree in psychology, pursuing a Master’s degree, and being a licensed psychotherapist (qualifying) with the CRPO.
What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I love crocheting.

Best way to relax after a long day?
A walk at the park with my dogs.

Go-to comfort food?
Poutine.

What’s one thing on your bucket list?
To travel around all of Canada by car.

What’s your favourite part about being a therapist?
Hearing other people’s stories and building road maps to find a healing path. Once we find that direction of healing, it is amazing to see the progress and changes a person makes for themselves.
